Unit 6 Governor Equipment of Tuokou Power Plant,
Yuanjiang Company Successfully Passes Factory Acceptance
On August 12, 2026, Tuokou Power Plant of Yuanjiang Company organized an acceptance team to visit Wuhan Sichuang Automatic Control Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out the factory acceptance of the governor system retrofit equipment.
The governor control systems for Units 5 and 6 of Tuokou Power Plant comprise complete sets of equipment including electrical control cabinets, oil pressure unit control cabinets, and mechanical-hydraulic systems. The control systems have been in operation for nearly ten years, and most of the original supporting spare parts models are now discontinued, posing a safety hazard of having no replacement parts in the event of a unit failure. In addition, the failure rate of the control systems has been increasing year by year, and the overall equipment aging problem is prominent, seriously affecting the safe and stable operation of the units. The governor systems, oil pressure units, and supporting auxiliary equipment required for this retrofit were all uniformly designed and manufactured by Wuhan Sichuang Automatic Control Technology Co., Ltd.
This factory acceptance covered the complete set of governor control system equipment for Unit 6. The attending acceptance personnel reviewed the project technical drawings and factory test records item by item, and verified the equipment hardware configuration on site. On-site spot checks and witnessing were conducted for a number of key tests, including the governor automatic start/stop test, mechanical manual/automatic/electric manual switching test, load rejection test, static characteristic test, and fault simulation test. All tests were strictly carried out and witnessed in accordance with the items specified in the acceptance test outline.
